Late last year Claire Johnstone and Phil Rhodes were elected as Greater Wellington regional councillors for the Tawa/Pāuatahanui Ward. They have graciously accepted an invitation from the Harbour Trust and the Guardians of the Inlet to address a meeting open to everyone on MONDAY 4 MAY 2026 AT 7.15PM ST MARY’S CHURCH WHITBY.

If you are interested in the health and restoration of the twin arms of our harbour and its contributing streams then come along, listen and pose any questions you may have of our representatives.

With changes to regional councils coming up our councillors may not have much time to make a difference. Do your part in making sure they know what the residents of Porirua and northern Wellington are expecting when it comes to caring for our precious natural environment.
