The Plimmerton Rotary Club is gearing up for another year of planting around the edges of the beautiful Pauatahanui Inlet — and they would love you to be part of it.

Four planting days are planned for this year, mostly through the winter months. Whether you’ve participated before or this will be your first time hearing about the events, all are welcome.

No experience needed — just a willingness to get your hands dirty for a great cause!

The four community planting days confirmed for this year are:

Planting sessions are mostly in the morning — exact timing depends on the tide. Full details closer to each day.

This year’s planting will be along the Camborne Walkway as well as some infill planting around Motukaraka Point. It’s worth taking a look at last year’s planting around Motukaraka Point  – you can see the difference already that planting makes
